White Mule Bed & Breakfast is a turn of the century farm house that is located in the heart of wine country in central Missouri. This farm house is the original farm house
that sat directly behind the old Charlotte Store and Post Office. This farm was previously owned by the Roethemeyer family. The Roethemeyer family was one of the last farm families in Gasconade County to farm with mules (a pair of beautiful white mules).
Thus came the name “White Mule Bed and Breakfast“.
In 2004 the Schlottach Family acquired this farm which adjoined their farm. The Schlottach
farm was the site of the Charlotte Blacksmith
